Error on QMultimedia on Rpi
I have my .pro written as ```
QT += core gui
QT += multimedia
greaterThan(QT_MAJOR_VERSION, 4): QT += widgets
TARGET = Estet
TEMPLATE = app
SOURCES += main.cpp
HEADERS += electronicstethoscope.h
FORMS += electronicstethoscope.ui
error says **cannot find -lQtMultimedia** & **collect2: ld returned 1 exit status**
and you are sure that the QtMultimedia module is available?
Did you compile Qt from source?
I just followed the installation guide stated here https://wiki.qt.io/Apt-get_Qt4_on_the_Raspberry_Pi. Does this led me to a wrong installation?
seems like QtMultimedia isn't contained in linux installation packages. I guess this has some reasons related to the available backend? I dont know.
I am afraid you need to compile (or cross compile) Qt yourself.
Best use the gstreamer backend for QtMultimedia on the RPi.
There should be some material on the web.
But before try some precompiled binaries to safe some work and time. (Qt5 though)
@raven-worx Thankyou Sir! But since you suggested to i found this site http://loydcraft.com/2015/01/28/qt5-compiled-for-raspberry-pi/ and sucessfully downloaded and install qt5. I am having a hard time now to have qt creator to utilize qt5. Google said that Qt 2.6 and up will do.
