How to draw a linear graph using input from a file

Hello everyone I am totally new to Qt. I want to draw a graph using input from a given file and add interactive changes to anomalies present in that graph.
I have studied on QCustomPlot but was not able to get desired output. I don't know where to begin with and I have very short time to complete this.
Plz help its urgent. Thanx in advance!!!

QCustomPlot can do many things so it makes me wonder
why it did not work for you.Was it the drawing part or the interactive changing ?
If you are completely new to Qt, this will take you some days.
