<p dir="auto">I have created a GUI with just a QWebView, Set the url in the preferences (not programatically).</p>
<p dir="auto">I am using QT 4.8.</p>
<p dir="auto">My .pro file has QT += core gui network webkit</p>
<p dir="auto">However, I still receive the error "QtWebKit/QWebView: No such file or directory"</p>
<p dir="auto">To add, I am using ubuntu 14.04 to compile and have installed libqtwebkit-dev</p>
<p dir="auto">Any help will be really appreciated.</p>

<p dir="auto">I fixed it. Was my bad all along,</p>
<p dir="auto">I looked in the created makefile and realised it was looking for the libraries in a different place. I added the libraries to this location and it compiles perfectly.</p>

<p dir="auto">Oh, in 4.8 Designer and creator is 2 different programs.<br />
In creator where you have the project files, there should be a Build menu?</p>
<p dir="auto">question: you must use 4.8? Its pretty old.</p>
