Solved Obtaining hardware address of current connection
-
How can I obtain the Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth address as shown in Settings->General->About on iOS devices?
I've tried using QNetworkInterface::hardwareAddress(), but that is not working.

Hi,
Are you looking for a unique identifier for the device ?
-
Yes, that is correct. Usually I would use the MAC address, but any unique identifier will do
-
IIRC, you have to use UIDevice:identifierForVendor for that task

@SGaist Thanks for the reply. I am assuming there is no Qt context for this other than wrapping a C++ interface around an objective C call?

No there's not, but it's really not hard, you can take some inspiration from the QtMacExtras module e.g. the badgeLabelText function
