Distributing an application

  • I have finally finished writing my application and I would like to publish it but I faced a problem.
    Once I try to launch my application outside of QT, it tells me that libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll and libstdc++-6.dll are missing. Other QT dependencies libraries are in place.

    I am using a MinGW 4.9.2 32bit compiler.
    I have tried adding this:
    QMAKE_CXXFLAGS += -static-libgcc -static-libstdc++
    to the .pro file but it didn't help.
    Could anyone help me with this?

    Hi,

    You can use windeployqt in order to prepare your application for distribution. If you have only these two libraries missing, just copy them from your MinGW installation.
