BAD Qslider aspect on TicksAbove , TicksFeft, TicksBelow, TicksRight

I have a strange problem with QSlider. I use them in vertical and I have no problem if configures them with ticks on both sides or not at all.
In all other cases the knob is off-axis. This is even more evident if I expand the slider horizontally and with ticks left. I tried under Win7 64bit and does not give me problems as well as under XP. I tried with both Fedora 20 and Fedora 22 (Mate desktop) but the problem is always present. The problem goes away if I force the fusion style.
