Declare a global window class objects, in the case of no pointer

I want to create a global window class objects, but I don't want to use pointer, how can i do it.
Something like a static QWidget ? You can't.
You need to have QApplication instantiated before creating widgets.
What would be the problem of using a pointer ? Also why do you need that global window ?
