    I get an error now that xcode updated to 7.01 when trying to build the example projects.

    :-1: warning: no such sysroot directory: '/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.10.sdk'

      Hi,

      This is because Xcode 7 doesn't provide the last SDK like it used to. So the current workaround is to add "QMAKE_MAC_SDK = macosx10.11" to your pro file but IIRC it should be fixed for the next release of Qt
