QtCreator 3.5.0 and 3.5.1 on OSX crashing in TextEditor::FunctionHintProposalWidget::eventFilter

I'm on OSX 10.11. This crash pops op about once a day. It occurs when hovering over a function name.
It has been occurring with QtCreator 3.5.0 and I already got it once with 3.5.1 today. The crash happens sporadically in daily use, about once every day.The crash report is ALWAYS the same, crashing in TextEditor::FunctionHintProposalWidget::eventFilter
