Some nice icons would be good instead of say "Thread Master" ... :) maybe jumping ahead a bit .. but visual indicators are much better I feel. Thoughts?

Maybe a icon with a nice color like red for little, orange for medium, green for master :)

Edit: Maybe a little icon like 15x15 for see all badge in a user profile, for example 2 bar that can include 5 badge...
        example:

BT= BetaTestet GO = Group Owner GP = Groupie TM = Thread Master
        [ BT,GO,GP,TM,...]

I'm not too keen on Abbreviations ... they are always a bit prohibitive I feel ... :P

I like it the way it is now ... it won't be bad if there are some cool pictures like these of ranks but I can't imagine how the text "Thread Master" would be replace with a picture.

            Definitely no "BT,GO,GP,TM.." , sorry.

You will be surprised how good some designers can be ... they can come up with icons for everything :D

I absolutely agree with that. Let's hope it'll happen some day :)

Abbreviations is only an example to what i mean with little icon...
For me the badge is a little medal to show to the user...so is beautiful show all medals not only two and with text this is impossible.
One solution for me is using rapresentative icon with an 'alt' tag with descrition.
For example thread master can be rapresented by a pencil icon gold silver bronze.
                  A becker for beta testing...

like the gold, silver, bronze idea :)
+1 for showing all medals and not just 2 :) :)

@chetankjain Now there are only 4 badges ( except "Troll", "Qt Certified...", etc ) and you have all of them. Alexandra said more are coming ... I'm sure you'll have them too. Displaying all your badges will mean that half of the thread is for you :D
( I'm saying this with good feelings and admiration for you :) )
