<p dir="auto">I use Qt for Mac, where everything works fine.</p>
<p dir="auto">Now I wanted to install Qt creator on Oracle VirtualBoxVM. Well, Qt creator itself is working without any problems on VM, but when I wanted to set up the compiler I either had the problem, that the version was not supported (e.g. Visual c++ Express) or the size of the version of MSVC was too big to be installed on Oracle VirtualBoxVM.</p>
<p dir="auto">I know, that it is generally recommended to use the same MSVC compiler als Qt creator was built in.</p>
<p dir="auto">In my case:<br />
Based on Qt 5.4.2. (MSVC 2013, 32 bit)</p>
<p dir="auto">Is there a possibility to</p>
<ol>
<li>Make Qt work  even on Windows 7, 64, on Oracle VirtualBoxVM?</li>
<li>Which "smaller" sized software with a compiler is also compatible for Qt 5.4.2. (MSVC 2013, 32 bit)?</li>
</ol>

<p dir="auto">Not quite. You should use the same compiler as what the <strong>Qt libraries</strong> are built in. Note that Qt Creator is an IDE, it is not the Qt libraries.</p>

<p dir="auto">Yes. The easiest way is to install the MinGW package. This one includes the compiler, so you don't to install the compiler separately.</p>
