How to use WebChannel from a c++ client
is there a way to use the webchannel from the c++ side? I would like to have something like the chatclient example (qml, html) for c++.
Thanks in advance.
Do you mean something like the QtWebChannel module ?
Yes, the documentation says it exposes qobjects to remote html clients. I would like to expose them also for remote c++ clients.
AFAIK, it's not the purpose of this module however since QtWebChannel uses web sockets, wouldn't the QtWebSocket module be more what you want ?
QtWebSocket gives me direct access, but I would need to implement the webchannel protocol for my self. It would have been nice being able to replace a remote html client also by a native Qt client for example.
If you take the examples, it's a C++ Qt application which UI happens to be using HTML.
