Hey guys! Help me pls with understanding how QPainter works. As I understand from system monitor, it painting with CPU only and as the result even simple drawing on 60 hz (~17 msecs updating interval) becomes to slow (I need painting speed close to real-time reaction). Is there a way to move painting calculations to GPU? How it must be in perfect case? What can I do to increase performance in such situation? My knowledge of computer graphics a little low, so I will be grateful for the help, thank you.

The QPainter must be constructed from a QPaintDevice that is a "GL" device. An example is a QGLFramebufferObject.
