Issue with Qt Assistant formatting not matching installed version formatting

I am trying to build Qt, and Qt Creator with mingw32 instead of msvc and am having issues with the formatting of the help documentation. The newly compiled versions of Assistant and Creator show only text when opening the documentation. If I copy the qch files to the documentation folder of the installed version of Qt the programs display the documentation correctly. Is there something I need to do in the configure step to get the compiled version in mingw32 of assistant and Qt creator to display the documentation the same as the delivered version?
