    Hi,

There is a feature of Qt Creator which I liked a lot, but it doesn't seem to be present anymore.

Say that you have a few open documents and that both the Projects and Open Documents panes are visible. Now, before if you were to select a document in the Open Documents pane, it would also select it in the Projects pane. In other words, the two panes would keep in sync with regards to what is selected in them.

I find that feature very useful, but somehow it would seem that it doesn't work anymore in Qt Creator 3.4.0? Is that 'normal'? If it is then is there a way to get that old behaviour back?

    Cheers, Alan.

      Hi,

I'd say it's a bug, IIRC there was an option to follow or not the opened/selected file. You should take a look at the bug report system

Ok, I couldn't find anything there (it sometimes feels like looking for a needle in a haystack), so I have created a bug report for it: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-14509.

Ok, my bad, there is indeed a setting for that feature, which I had never noticed and clearly switched off without realising it.

Sorry, I guess I should have mentioned it. Anyway, here it is.
