    Hello,

First of all I would like to mention that I am quite new at GUI development and at using the BeagleBone. Therefore I would like to ask you, to treat me as if I had no knowledge whatsoever.

I am currently trying to show a GUI that I developed with QT 5.4 on my Windows 7 64 bits Computer on my BeagleBone Black with armv7a architecture running Debian image 2014-04-23. I have seen countless videos and tutorials but they only get me more confused, as almost all of them use Armstrong and therefore the configuration is different (or so I think). I only need the LCD Cape that I have connected to the BeagleBone to show and run the GUI Application, create some text files and send them back to the computer.

Here my biggest issue: I DO NOT have internet connection on my BeagleBone and can not access any web page. This is because of the configuration of the Network that I am using and sadly, this is something that I can not change. I can not share my internet connection with my BeagleBone. I think that my biggest issue is the fact that I can't use the "apt-get update" command.

Could someone please point me in the right direction and tell me what are the steps that I need to follow or simply tell me if it is even possible to do it with only internet connection on my Windows Computer?
Any kind of help is greatly appreciated! Thank you very much :)
