How do i use qtmultimedia under Ubuntu 15.04? There is no gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg package available and if i use the ppa from mc3man seems to only work for 14.10 as far as i tested this. on 15.04 i'll get an error, that jack server is not running ...

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

IIRC, with 5.5 you may have GStreamer 1 as an opt-in feature, you might be interested by that.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think your options are:

        • Ask mc3man to support Ubuntu 15.04, OR
        • Build Qt yourself with GStreamer 1.0 support (see [New Features in Qt 5.5]https://wiki.qt.io/New_Features_in_Qt_5.5 and Building Qt 5 from Git)
