a bug in the weatherinfo demo

Hello,
I tried running the weatherinfo demo(as one of the demos for our project about processor emulation),
but when I add the 'cities' action menus, the top and bottom portion of the scene is hidden outside of the view.
Because I'm new to Qt, I don't know how to fix this.
I posted my question on the stackoverflow, and as suggested by someone, tried increasing the window size, setting sceneRect,
but the problem is the scene is independent of the window(View?) and always there is some portion outside the window(not shown).
The question is at (sorry to redirect to other site). Hope someone with experties could give me the answer.
