[solved] Cannot uninstall Qt 5.4 on Windows 8.1
-
Hi,
I recently ran the Qt Maintenance Tool, which told me my installation was corrupt and I should reinstall it. (I only installed Qt a week ago and have hardly touched it!)When I tried to "Remove all components" I got an error message telling me, "ProductName should be set".
I don't know what to do. Can I remove Qt manually?
Thanks, I would appreciate any help.

I managed to uninstall Qt 5.4 after reading this post: http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/50983
In my Qt folder, there was a file, maintenanceTool.dat.new, which I renamed to maintenanceTool.dat.
I then ran the maintenance tool again and this time, it successfully uninstalled Qt.
