StyleSheet in QSlider [Markings/Ticks become invisible]

Dear All,

Whenever i try to set the style-sheet in QSlider for handle and groove then all the ticks become invisible. Is there any way to show the ticks (markings) in QSlider?

I encounter the same problem when I try to use the stylesheet to customize a horizontal QSlider widget.

Unfortunately styling ticks is a long-standing deficiency of QSlider. It's either stylesheet or ticks.
