I've qt5.3.1 on centos7, and I'm building mysql plugin. but havuing this error :-@
[rahul@kaljayi ~]$ cd /opt/Qt5.3.1/5.3/Src/qtbase/src/plugins/sqldrivers/mysql/
[rahul@kaljayi mysql]$ pwd
/opt/Qt5.3.1/5.3/Src/qtbase/src/plugins/sqldrivers/mysql
[rahul@kaljayi mysql]$ qmake
Project LOAD(): Feature qt_plugin cannot be found.
[rahul@kaljayi mysql]$ su
Password:
[root@kaljayi mysql]# qmake
Project LOAD(): Feature qt_plugin cannot be found.
[root@kaljayi mysql]# qmake -version
Qmake version: 1.07a (Qt 3.3.8b)
Qmake is free software from Trolltech ASA.
[root@kaljayi mysql]# qmake "INCLUDEPATH+=/usr/include/mysql" "LIBS+=-L/usr/lib64/mysql -lmysqlclient_r" mysql.pro
Project LOAD(): Feature qt_plugin cannot be found.
[root@kaljayi mysql]# exit
[rahul@kaljayi mysql]$ qmake "INCLUDEPATH+=/usr/include/mysql" "LIBS+=-L/usr/lib64/mysql -lmysqlclient_r" mysql.pro
Project LOAD(): Feature qt_plugin cannot be found.

@how to overcome this problem. pleasssssssse help.

You are using qmake from Qt 3.3.8b. It is too old. Please use qmake from your current Qt installation (5.3.1). It should be in bin folder.
PS. You can save yourself much hassle by installing Qt in your home directory, not globally as root.

finally I got solution :-
have to give full path of command "qmake" like this:-
@/opt/Qt5.3.2/5.3/gcc_64/bin/qmake "INCLUDEPATH+=/usr/include/mysql" "LIBS+=-L/usr/lib64/mysql -lmysqlclient_r" mysql.pro
@
this recognized "qmake" command
