Thank you for support : Home Design 3D Android in beta
-
The new version Home Design 3D use Qt mostly for GUI with QtQuick and a little for the multi-platform part. Some of our internal tools are completely written in Qt (with Widgets).
We think this application make a good use and demonstration of QtQuick, even if we can improve GUI by adding more transitions,..
We wan't to say a big thx to the community for all their support by fixing bugs we report since last year.
Historically Home Design 3D was an iOS product, and for this complete rewrite we are starting by Android cause some little features still miss (like save compatibility). We don't know for the moment if the iOS version will be based on Qt or not, but for other platforms (MacOsX and Windows) it will be the case.
So here is the link to participate to the beta :
"Home Design 3D Beta":https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/home-design-3d-beta
and the page of product on the "play store":https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.anuman.HomeDesign3D if you want see captures,... (Please notice you have to be a member of the beta group to access this link)We hope to see soon Qt5.4 cause we are waiting some important fixes.
As we are a really small team (3 developers) we can't contribute directly to the source of Qt, but we would like to do it.
Again thank you for this great framework. -
Hi,
It seems that the application link doesn't work.
Even if you are a small team, that doesn't mean you can't contribute, everybody can :)

Sorry, I think you have to be a member of the beta group to access the play store page.
It's almost impossible to contribute to the source of Qt for the moment cause of pressure, we don't have time. And as I know we have some other projects on our free time. (Me and one coworker are doing something like QtQuick in the D language).

Ok, you should update your first post mentioning that, otherwise other people might get bitten by that.
Time constraint is indeed a big problem for that, but I was just mentioning that you can do it without any problem if you have the time/desire to do so :)
