Ways to attract attention to my bug report?
-
Not exactly the right forum section for this question, but I don't see any section for discussing Qt bugs at all.
My Qt bug report appears to not be receiving any attention for quite a while. I'm afraid it will not get fixed for 5.4 and there'll be at least another half a year until I can use Qt 5 in my project (which means I won't be able to use C++ 11 for that much longer). Is there any way I can raise attention to this bug? -
You could ping people on IRC, or post a message to Qt interest mailing list.
If you are a commercial customer, you can contact the Qt support.

BTW: have you tried it with QOpenGLWidget in Qt 5.4?
-
Thanks.
I haven't tried 5.4 since it's only available as src package and I don't like the idea of building it myself. By the way, I don't use QOpenGLWidget, I initialize OpenGL myself on a native window (using QWidget and its WinId()). So it seems that the bug is somewhere deep down within QT basic window-related internals.P. S. Obviously, I'm not a commercial customer, I'm sure I would have been able to persuade the maintainers to fix it already if I was.

Hi,
In between you can test with the beta package from "here": http://download.qt-project.org/snapshots/qt/5.4

Oh, it's out already? I've missed it. Thank you!
