QtCreator 3.12 Vim autocompletion seems to be broken
-
I am on ubuntu14.04 with i3 and when I trigger autocompletion the first key that I press is always ignored.
For example if I want to autocomplete std::make_shared
I have to type:
std::mmake_sh [enter]
but it should just be
std::make_sh [enter]
edit:
It seems to work on windows. Maybe my window manager is causing some troubles.
edit2:
Seems to be a problem with the linux version of QtCreator. Can someone reproduce this bug?

I see the same behavior on Fedora 20 with Gnome3.
After autocomplete box popped out I had to type twice first letter. -
Hi,
I tested with Ubuntu 14.04 with Gnome Shell 3.10.4 and QtCreator 3.1.2. No issues.
-
Any ideas what could cause such a problem?
Edit: When I start QtCreator with sudo the problem disappears.

This is a problem with ibus on Ubuntu 14.04, see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ibus/+bug/1278569Disabling ibus cures the problem.
