Since I'm very near to release a mobile Qt application in the app-stores soon, I'm looking for ways to prevent piracy on all mobile platforms. Loosing profit is not the main reason, but I think a well-developed app should also be able to prevent successful cracks of the application itself which simply may harm the credibility :)
The only solution I could imagine to work flawless right now is to force the user to create an account on a secure server before the app is usable. This would be possible via a the application itself by spawning a website. So every important function would require a valid feedback on the server-side.
Nevertheless, in my view this is very annoying for the user experience. Any suggestions are welcome :)
Thanks in advance!
