Hi,
Do you mean if you search through the "Search Results" ?
-
Yes! Thank you for your answer
-
There's the cross at the right of the search field but I'm not sur that's what you want
-
I wanted to delete an entry in the combobox
nex to the lineedit (with the cross) you probably mean. This is the search results tab:
"Scope: " <Combobox>
"Search for: " <LineEdit (with the X)>
<Checkbox> "Case .." <Checkbox> "Whole..." <Checkbox> "..Regular.."
"File pattern: " <Combobox>
I am talking about the last combobox "file pattern"

Well… You have found a pretty good question, it looks like you currently can't outside of edition Qt Creator's configuration file.
You could try looking at the "bug report system":http://bugreports.qt-project.org to see if someone already talks about it, if not you could consider opening a new suggestion

Check into QtCreator.ini hidden file at path /home/user/.config/QtProject/
Find "AllProjectsFind\filters="
Delete assigned values.:-D
-
On Windows, the QtCreator.ini file is located:
- C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\QtProject\QtCreator.ini
Look for:
- FindInFiles\filters=
- AllProjectsFind\filters=
Success when removing badly formed file patterns entries on Qt Creator 4.3.1.
