Resize plainTextEdit to fill up size of window

If I expand the window to "see more of the document" similar to how notepad works. the plainTextEdit box stays the same size. Is there a way to dynamically resize the plainTextEdit to be based on the window's height/width.
BTW, I have two plainTextBox's that I have side by side (kind of like winmerge) that I wish to do this with.
