QSoundEffect Bug with PulseAudio

Hey guys,

I'm having trouble playing more than 32 QSoundEffects on a arch linux machine. The same application runs great on mac but crashes on a linux machine. Does anyone have a clue why pulseaudio can't handle more than 32 instances?

I found out that every qsound and qsoundeffect creates a new output which is then routed into pulse audio.

Since it might be a low-level question, you should try asking on the interest mailing list. You'll find there Qt's developers/maintainers(this forum is more user oriented)
