Possible to still use QCoreGraphicsPaintEngine for QPainter in Qt 5.3 on Mac OS X?

I realize that the raster paint engine is "default" in Qt 5.3 on most platforms, including Mac OS X. But is it still possible to use the CoreGraphics paint engine for QPainter (not printing) in Qt 5.3 on Mac OS X?
It seems that the performance of the raster engine in Qt 5.3 is often still poor, especially when running software such as Skype screen sharing or some screen recording, in Retina or 4K resolutions.
