    I'm using Qt5.3 on Windows, and am trying to set a custom cursor as follows:
    @
    QImage image(":/images/eyedropper.png");
    QCursor cur(QPixmap::fromImage(image));
    QApplication::setOverrideCursor(cur);
    @

    This works, but the cursor is application wide, which is not what I want.
    Instead, I want the cursor to apply over a QWebView widget which is embedded in my MainWindow

    if instead of QAppliation::setOverrideCursor(cur) I call _myWebView->setCursor(cur) I do not see any errors, but the cursor never changes.

    Am I doing something wrong or is there a known inability to use setCursor with QWebView?

    edit: I have turned on mouse-tracking on the QWebView but it still doesn't work.

    Thanks
