QScreen.createSurface() and custom QWSWindowSurface issue
-
Hello everyone,
I am using Qt4.8.6 and using custom video driver to do rendering on PowerPC platform.
I read and followed the section on how to add grafix driver: http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qws-svgalib.html
and used svga example: http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qws-svgalib.html but I am having problems actually utilizing Surface painting mechanism, in other words, when my custom QScreen class createSurface(key) is called it never receives the key of my custom surface.The driver is implemented and is functional, and i proved it by not utilizing Custom surface but just using blit() function within the screen where it is flipping the image directly to the driver memory.
I am trying to use surface class to optimize surface rendering to minimize duplicate memory copying and directly draw the image on the video driver buffer.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi and welcome to devnet,
For such a low level question, you should rather go to the interest mailing list and/or the #qt IRC channel. You'll find there Qt's developers/maintainers (this forum is more user oriented)
