    It is easy to "see":http://tinypic.com/r/15mh0l2/8 in the Qt Designer. The selected area bigger than button's border.

    There is no margins in this button.

    (There is no such problem for QToolButton.)

      I think the metric include space for the button drop shadow, which does not exists anymore in OS X 10.9 but use to be there in early versions.
