Read audio metadata without QMediaPlayer

Hi all,
I need to store metadata of a lot of audio files.
I would like to use QMediaObject functions to get the metadata but I think that I need to use QMediaPlayer that is derived from QMediaObject. However if I use QMediaPlayer::setMedia() for each file it become very slow, how can I do? Thanks

Nobody can help me? It is very strange that qt can potentially reads Metadata but you must play a music to read them.
I think that I will use an external lib, if I will be able.
