Intermittent crash when webkit renders svg

  • In my application, to print, I create a QWebView, load html into it and render it to the printer. When printing from my application, there is an intermittent crash (I must try repeatedly to get it). I have narrowed it down to coming from svg rendering. If I comment out everything but the svg, it crashes just as much. If I comment out the svg, it never crashes. If I create the svg file but don't add it to the page to be rendered, still no crashes. So it's in svg rendering and I always get basically this call stack:

I have searched around and seen past bug reports for a crash in svg but it seems I'm still getting it. Stranger still, updating from Qt 5.1 to 5.3 has greatly reduced the frequency of the crash, but any amount greater than 0 is of course unacceptable.

"Click this link": for an svg that was created before crashing. The app generates these on the fly, but there is no difference in the content between the times it crashes and the times it doesn't (a diff on the .svgs confirms this).

I'm experiencing this on Windows, Mac and Linux.
