How to install GCC / MinGW on Windows ? (QT 5.1.1)? confused !

If you need this version (5.1.1) then download this: @qt-windows-opensource-5.1.1-mingw48_opengl-x86-offline.exe@
from this site: "Qt 5.1.1 Downloads":http://download.qt-project.org/official_releases/qt/5.1/5.1.1/
Then start it and follow the instructions (generally just press "Next" button). -
i downloaded the msvc version a long time ago, i switched to ubuntu so , i didnt ever install it!
now i did, but there are no compilers in kit and compilers setting , it only had msvc in it! , nets are so horrible and limited here, if thats the only way i will download that tonight, but the 5.4.0 version :)btw thats x86, my Computer is 64 bit, isn't that a problem?

MSVC version require Microsoft Visual Studio Express or at least Microsoft SDK. I never used it so I am not sure what else is necessary.
Version Mingw have a gcc compiler included in the package and you don't need anything else.The latest final version is 5.3.0. Version 5.4.0 is not even Alpha. There is also "Online installer":http://download.qt-project.org/official_releases/online_installers/qt-opensource-windows-x86-1.6.0-3-online.exe. With it you can download only what is needed.
x86 is not a problem for 64-bit computers.

nets here are so horrible, many dcs , ok i install the 5.3.0 Mingw, also nets are data limited here but mine has a free time at 3am-7am which i can only use 3x of my data limit !
so the exact file i should download is:

?i will also download android one and see how programming qt for android is :)

It is better to download this "Qt Online Installer for Windows (14 MB)":http://download.qt-project.org/official_releases/online_installers/qt-opensource-windows-x86-1.6.0-3-online.exe
and during installation process to select only what you need. -

[/quote]its 12:12 and i gtg to sleep, no time to view reply :( but i donwload the one i linked, as i told you , i can only donwload at 3-7am and i can't wake up 3am and wake up again at 7am to pause it, and im 100% sure it will give atleast 2 errors and fails in middle of download! i use IDM , its pretty good software, thats the only reason im on windows, expect that i need Logitech Gaming Software and feel lazy to reboot :P (i have a ssd but still, xD)

damn it such a horrible day, i woke up for 2 hours , burned my hand 5 times, made pancakes made whole kitchen messy and pancakes ended up tasting like waster !and found out my download didnt start, my poor pc was on doing nothing till now (10:52am) i saw i set download to start at 3PM now AM , god :( i can't wait , but thanks , i will download that tomorrow, may take more than one day to download it !
today : my net cable disonnected, anyway i tried my best to make sure nothing gonna happen this time
