I've been trying to get a static Qt 5.3.0 build on Windows 8.1 x64 working for the past little while, but it invariably goes wrong during either the configure step or the make step. Even then, I've been getting conflicting information over how to proceed, as most static guides are for MinGW.

I'm deleting everything Qt related to start fresh, so does anyone have a working method to build this? Or, better yet, something automated like the PowerShell script for MinGW?

    My environment:

    • Windows 8.1 x64
    • MSVC2013 Update 2
    • Qt 5.3.0 (from Git)
    • Strawberry Perl 5.18.2.2-32bit
    • Python 2.7.7 x86
    • No Webkit necessary, so no Ruby
