This is such a basic issue that I think I must be doing something wrong.

I am running Qt Creator 3.1.1 on Mac OS 10.9, with the lldb backend in a project that uses Makefiles. When I debug an executable, the debugger launches fine, and even stops correctly on the line that is causing the error. However, I cannot see the actual error message, e.g. "Floating Point Exception" or "Segfault" displayed anywhere in Qt Creator. The Application Output just shows "Debugging starts", and then "Debugging has finished". Clicking on Continue just loops on the line causing the error.

Where should the exceptions/errors normally be displayed? I am new to Qt Creator.
