Size of bold font changes between 5.3 and 5.2.1 qt - Any workaround?

As stated here ( https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-39412 ) currently the size of bold fonts changes between the use of Qt 5.2.1 and Qt 5.3 on desktop applications. Since the android application isnt affected, I cant just change the fontsize of Text elements that use "bold:true".
Has someone a suggestion for another workaround for this problem until it is fixed?
