Android (Qt 5.3) no QMenu feature?

    I am following this example:

    (Getting Started Programming with Qt Widgets | QtDoc 5.3)
    The project wizard does not create a QMenu automatically, i.e., the "window" has no title bar or menu bar on the top, just a blank rectangular area.
    I manually added a QMenu in the Qt Designer. It compiles and runs on my Note 3. But the Menu does not show up.

    Is the QMenu feature not available for Android?

      Now I think of it, this may be part of the reason why the Bluetooth Chat example is all screwed up on my Note 3 also. See this post:
