How to mix two audio file encoded in AAC/MP4

Dear all,
I need to combine two audio file (both recorded with QAudioRecorder and encoded in AAC) in order to generate a third audio file containing the overlapped sounds (as they was recorded in the same moment).I'm not an expert of the Qt Multimedia module and from the documentation I didn't understand if it would be possibile using the Qt Multimedia or I need an external library to do that.
Can you give my any suggestion to point me to the solution ?
