    Hi everyone ,
    I am newbie in QT. I have installed the QT SDK and QT Creator3.0.1. it is installed well,but I am not able to find the *QT GUI Application *after clicking on FILE->New Project.
    its not showing QT GUI Application.
    What to do ?
    I tried http://qt-project.org/doc/qtcreator-3.1/creator-project-qmake.html**. but not sucessful. give me solution.

    please help me..

      Did you reboot your system? On Windows you need to reboot to reload your path variables!
      BTW, that's probably not what you asked??
      When going to the new->project you are able to select a Qt Widget (old Qt GUI application), Qt Quick (QML) and Qt Console application. You want to select the first one for a Qt GUI application widget based application.

        "Qt Gui Application" is now called "Qt Widgets Application".

          Starting with Vista that's no longer true. App restart is enough.
