Qtcreator 3.1 very sluggish on X forwarding

I think I have exactly the same problem as this guy:

Basically, I logged in to a remote linux server and want to use qtcreator on my local windows machine through X forwarding. Qtcreator is slow to start and sluggish when editing text files.

The OSs are: remote: CentOS 6.5 on linux 2.6.32; local: Win 7.

Hi, I had same problem (for remote Debian and local OSX),
ended up instead using vncserver om Debian and vncviewer on OSX.
