    Hi,

    Could someone please explain how I access the QMediaGaplessPlaybackControl, or how to check if it is supported by my system?
    It is stated that "The functionality provided by this control is exposed to application code through the QMediaPlayer class", but I am still a bit clueless.

    Thanks and regards

      Hi,

      You'll need this:

      QMediaPlayer::service()

      QMediaService::requestControl()

      Hope it helps

        Thanks,
        I did the following
        @
        QMediaPlayer m_player = new QMediaPlayer;
        QMediaGaplessPlaybackControl *control = m_player->service()->requestControl<QMediaGaplessPlaybackControl *>();
        @
        which just returned the null pointer, so it is not even supported by my system... What a shame :(

            I'm on Linux. I read somewhere that this is not supported by gstreamer.

              IIRC, it was a bug in gstreamer, but it might also be something missing in Qt. You can try to ask on the interest mailing list about that. You'll find there Qt's developers/maintainers (this forum is more user oriented)
