Hi all, i want to show show items as sub menus inside the QComboBox pop up

    "ComboBox Sample Image":http://postimg.org/image/7nr55mraf/

I need the functionality which i have shown in the attached image for the combo box. Normally the same functionality is used by Menu bar items. Is there any way to implement this. Does any one tried this? Please help.

        Hi,

It's look like you are ready to go against all platforms style guides with that widget. Can you tell why you need such a strange combos ?

yes, that's pretty weird design of software, never heard about such idea.
@Arun, see QComboBox view and setView.I think that you can replace QAbstractItemView with your own. eg. always append only one item and attach menu to that view ... so theoretically it's possible, but how it will work I really don't know.

In my software i am using lot of options as filter criteria which can be grouped together else the list will grow like anything when i click on the combo box. It will not be good to see from the user perspective if they use small screen monitors.
