I just can`t understand what paint engine is. I know game engine, graphics engines, but paint engine...

Hi,
All Widgets needs to be painted. Because there are some differences in OS ways of painting, this class was created to take it out of your hands.
The old way with QPainter etc was more intense.
So, it's like a game engine (running a game on different platforms/OS without much changing the API).
