[Solved] Qt Cloud Services (lgpl)
Is there any way that I can try Cloud Services with Qt 5.2.1 lgpl version for Linux? I guess the installer did not include the sdk for cloud services since I can't import enginio. I tried the instructions that said to use the maintenance tool, however, there was no default repository. I used http://download.qt-project.org/online/qtsdkrepository/linux_x64/desktop/qt5/ as a custom repo and it worked to bring up the component selector, but there is no "Qt Cloud Services" component listed.
The Qt Cloud Services component is only available via online installer for current release, So if you want to try it out, please download the online installer and tick 'Qt Cloud Services' box during component selection.
Please do also note that to try out the new Managed WebSockets feature you need to install Qt 5.3.0 beta version from here: https://download.qt-project.org/development_releases/qt/5.3/5.3.0-beta/
Okay, I tried running the online installer for linux 64 bit and it did not run. Any idea why?
What error are you getting from the online installer ?
Oh sorry, I had to chmod the .run file to make it executable :-(
No worries, that can happen :)
Happy coding !
