Hi all,
Is there any way to allow user to insert text in a QPlainTextEdit without erase (with the backspace key) QPlainTextEdit's current content? just like a terminal/Console, i need to implement something like this:
QPlaintTextEdit's content example:
Insert Text: (user can insert or delete text here but can't erase the text "Insert Text: " or anything before it)
has Qt something like that already Implementated or do i have to do it myself?

QTextEdit has a property setPlaceholderText(const QString &),
but QPlainTextEdit hasn't ..
