Installing PySide via pip, "Failed to find cmake"

Edit: I gave in and installed Qt, followed by PySide, using the Windows installers instead.
After much Google searching, I have failed to surmount an error ("Failed to find cmake") while trying to install PySide via pip. Any suggestions? Do I need to add an entry to my environment variables? The downloads page says that PySide is standalone and that all necessary Qt dependencies are included, but is that really true?
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Installed Python 3.3.4
Installed pip via get-pip.py: http://pip.readthedocs.org/en/latest/installing.html
Tried to install PySide with the command c:\Python33\Scripts\pip install --use-wheel PySide
