[Solved] Dynamically load a library in platform independent manner?
-
Hi,
I recently came across the topic of dynamic linking.
I understand from "this":http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/784bt7z7.aspx article, how to do it on Windows.
But I would like to know if Qt can provide a platform independent method for this? Also I know the name of the dll (OpenCL.dll) and I want to link to it.
So does Qt provide a way to search the CWD, system directories of OS, path variable, etc and find the path of the dll just by passing the name of the dll? -
According to "QLibrary documentation":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/qlibrary.html#details it "searches in all the system-specific library locations (e.g. LD_LIBRARY_PATH on Unix), unless the file name has an absolute path."

That is exactly what I was looking for.
Thank You.
