New player to play back video from qml?

Hi all, I am working on a qml based browser. My requirement is to play back a unique stream[Not a standard stream]. For that i want to add a new player . How can I add a new media player(Back-end) to playback a video from QML. Is there any doc I could refer to accomplish this? does the video play back in qml uses qtmultimedia. Is there any tutorial for writing plugin for qtmultimedia? Please Help. Thank in advance.
